Account Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Car Brain
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must not share your account with others
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

OAuth Authentication

We use secure OAuth 2.0 authentication through Google and Apple. You maintain full control over your authentication credentials through your chosen provider.

You must:

• Provide accurate vehicle and maintenance information
• Use the service for lawful purposes only
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Keep your account information up to date
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You must not:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Collect or store personal data of other users
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

Data Ownership

You retain all rights to the data you input into Car Brain. We claim no ownership over your vehicle information, maintenance records, or other data you provide.

Data Usage

We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services, develop new features, and provide industry insights. This data cannot be traced back to individual users.

Data Backup

While we regularly backup data, you are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important information. We recommend using our data export feature regularly.

Our Property

This includes:

• The Car Brain application and software
• All text, graphics, logos, and images
• The design and layout of the application
• All algorithms and functionality
• Trademarks and service marks

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Car Brain for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

No Warranty

Car Brain is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The service is free of viruses or harmful components
• Results obtained will be accurate or reliable

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Use the service in a way that creates legal liability
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Remain inactive for an extended period

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use Car Brain immediately ceases. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions and liability limitations.
